About Us
KCEVS provides routine care and emergency services to equine patients in Southern New Brunswick. An entirely ambulatory service, we offer an array of diagnostic services and treatments on the farm. Services are provided by appointment only, and emergency services are available to current clients. We understand that whether competing in the upper echelons of sport or retired comfortably at home, your equine companion is both a partner and a family member and is deserving of nothing but the best in medicine.
Dr Lauren Brooks grew up immersed in the equine industry in Southern Ontario. With an extensive list of experience in nearly all facets of the equine industry including reproduction, racing, fox hunting, show jumping, young horse development and sales, she brings a well-rounded wealth of background knowledge to the table paired with an understanding of what horse owners and trainers are looking for in their veterinary relationship. She completed a BSc in Animal Biology at the University of Guelph, prior to graduating with distinction from the Ontario Veterinary College. In addition to equine medicine, Lauren practices companion animal medicine at the Atlantic Veterinary Hospital. Lauren spends her time off exploring what New Brunswick has to offer with her fiancee Melissa and their collection of critters at home - horses, goats, chickens, dogs and a few too many cats.
